Burr and Burton Academy's Global Minimum Initiative (BGMI) is a non-profit, student-initiated organization which raises funds within the greater Manchester (VT) community.
Collectively, BGMI students acquire money to aid David Sengeh and Mathias Esmann's malaria-prevention NGO, GMin (Global Minimum) project,
which is involved with the distribution of mosquito nets and education of awareness to the natives in Sierra Leone.
BGMI actively engages in community fundraisers and encourages local businesses, middle and high schools to contribute to the ongoing effort to prevent the highly prevalent malaria.
